A Grounded Approach to Healing
What is Grounding?
Grounding, also known as earthing, is the practice of connecting the body to the earth's natural energy. This can be done outdoors (such as walking barefoot on the earth, or gardening with bare hands in the soil) or through the use of a grounding mat during your session. A grounding mat is used on the massage table to support this connection in a simple and non-invasive way.
Why incorporate grounding into massage?
Grounding is known to support the body's natural ability to restore balance and regulate the nervous system. Clients often experience: reduced stress and tension, a deeper sense of relaxation, improved sleep, reduced pain and inflammation, and a greater sense of calm and overall well-being.
Your session includes the use of a grounding mat along with carefully selected organic oils and products. This combination is designed to create a calming, supportive environment that enhances both therapeutic and relaxation-focused bodywork.
Is grounding right for everyone?
Grounding is a gentle, non invasive addition to your session and can be enjoyed by most clients. If you have any questions or preferences, your session will always be customized to your comfort.
Grounding is a complementary wellness practice and is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions.
